Expert in aviation safety

Selma Piric is an expert in aviation safety. With years of experience as a consultant, safety expert, trainer, and lecturer, and a Master’s degree in Human Factors, she knows better than anyone how to maintain the human perspective in a complex world.

She recently authored the book Safety Rebels, a fresh call to challenge the status quo in the field of safety. Selma combines a sharp perspective with a healthy dose of humor and is not afraid to ask the questions that truly matter.

She will take on the role of chair, guiding the day with that same open and critical perspective on our field.
